The Sun Valley Armory in East Greenwich, Rhode Island, operated by the Rhode Island National Guard since 1638, is undergoing a significant expansion and renovation to meet modern demands. Originally built in 1956 for 90 air force members, the facility now supports over 50% more personnel. Managed by Tower Construction with designs by RGB Architects, the project includes an 8,600 square foot addition and a renovation of the existing 20,000 square foot space. Improvements will provide additional office space, multi-function areas, locker rooms, showers, a lactation room, and enhanced learning support and storage facilities. Updates also encompass corridor extensions and upgrades to electrical systems and hardware.
